"Doha will host a historic event for the first time. The concert as part of Shakira's world tour will take place on Wednesday, November 18," the statement said.
It was previously reported that due to increased tensions in the Middle East region, the event scheduled for April 1 was postponed to another date.
The famous singer was scheduled to perform in Doha as part of the "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" world tour. The starting ticket price for the concert was $25. The organizers had previously announced that ticket sales for the show were ongoing.
