Dursun Hasanov, former extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia, has passed away.
Medianews.az reports that he died in Baku, at his residence.
The deceased will be buried in Baku on June 13.
It should be noted that Dursun Hasanov is originally from the Algeti administrative-territorial unit of the Marneuli district. He is the son of Ayvaz Dursun oghlu Hasanov, a state and party official of the Georgian SSR and a deputy of the Supreme Soviet.
Dursun Hasanov worked in Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions since 1993. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Azerbaijan's extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Georgia./Bakupost.az
