On July 28, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil under the "AzeriLight" brand was 95.58 dollars.
Medianews.az reports that this is 30.58 dollars higher than what was envisaged in Azerbaijan's 2026 budget.
In this year's state budget, one barrel of oil was taken at 65 dollars.
"AzeriLight" started January at 65.71, February at 69.72, March at 79.60, April at 132.35, May at 122.26, June at 104.58, and July at 75.34 dollars.
The oil market has been fluctuating due to tension around Iran since February 28.
The coalition of exporters has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels.
In the first half of 2026, with condensate included, 13.3 million tons of oil were extracted in Azerbaijan, and 6.2 billion dollars worth of crude oil and crude oil products were exported abroad.
