The preparatory exercises for the multinational exercise "EFES - 2026," held in the Republic of Turkey with the participation of servicemen from the Azerbaijan Army, are successfully continuing.
Medianews.az reports that the Ministry of Defense has released information about this.
It was stated that in accordance with the exercise plan, servicemen from the participating countries are performing practical tasks based on various combat scenarios.
In line with modern combat methods, the exercise groups are carrying out tasks such as preventing conditional enemy attacks and sabotage in residential areas, protecting facilities, providing first aid to wounded servicemen and evacuating them, as well as conducting combat operations in tunnels, bunkers, and caves.
During the exercise, artillery and mortars, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, are used to destroy the conditional enemy’s heavy equipment and live forces.
Our servicemen (Commando units) have demonstrated high professionalism and combat readiness during the execution of the assigned tasks.
