The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also respectfully commemorated, with fresh flowers placed on her grave.
At the same time, the grave of Hasan bey Zardabi, the founder of the Azerbaijani national press, publisher and editor-in-chief of the "Əkinçi" newspaper, distinguished public figure, and enlightened intellectual, was visited.
