The American actor James Van Der Beek, known for his role as "Dawson Leery" in the famous TV series "Dawson’s Creek," has passed away at the age of 48.
Medianews.az reports that the actor, who gained fame from the series aired between 1998 and 2003, had revealed in 2024 that he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
He lost the battle against the disease.
The sad news was shared by his wife Kimberley Van Der Beek on her social media account. She stated that the actor passed away in the morning hours and requested respect for the family's privacy.
It should be noted that James Van Der Beek has six children. He also acted in various films.
