Unexpected statement from the Kremlin ideologue: "Russia will fight for another 16-17 years"

Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin made a strange statement to the "Kremlyovskaya Tabakerka" Telegram channel.

According to Medianews.az, he told the channel that he had a dream:

"I received a revelation from God. I speak completely seriously, I saw God in traditional Russian attire, He spoke to me. And He said that Russia will fight for another 16-17 years. There will be a period of post-war difficulties, and only after that will there be flourishing, Russia's power will be established throughout the world."

Medianews.az recalls that Alexander Dugin, born in 1962, is known as one of the Kremlin’s ideologists. He calls himself a "conservative revolutionary," a "geopolitical theorist," and is one of the main ideologists of the "Eurasianism" idea.

Dugin is one of the most radical thinkers in the Russian socio-political environment. He is famous for his sharp stance against the West and for portraying Russia as an "Eurasian empire." His views combine both conservative and nationalist ideologies.

Dugin believes that Russia is neither fully European nor Asian, but a unique "Eurasian civilization." He opposes Western liberal values and defends Russia's political and ideological hegemony in the Eurasian space.

In his book "The Fourth Political Theory," he emphasized that liberalism, communism, and fascism have failed, and a new ideological model – the "fourth way" – is needed.

Dugin’s ideas have a significant place in Kremlin policy, especially regarding the Ukraine issue. He is considered one of the conceptual authors of the "Novorossiya" idea.

In the West, Dugin is presented as "Putin’s brain" or the "Kremlin ideologist." Some analysts describe his ideology as neo-fascist and imperialist.

Former Member of Parliament Etibar Aliyev reacted to Dugin sharing his dream on the "Kremlyovskaya Tabakerka" Telegram channel.

E. Aliyev told Medianews.az that Dugin often makes predictions in his various speeches and articles: "But this time, he only shared his dream. However, he could have predicted that after 17 years, Vladimir Putin will be 90 years old, and will he see Russia flourishing in his old age? Perhaps in that dream, the rascal also saw Putin, but he doesn’t say..."
