159 thousand messages after the first meeting: The woman who found her "soulmate" was arrested

Jaclyn Claire Ades, a woman living in the state of Arizona, USA, was arrested after sending more than 159,000 messages to a person she met on a dating site and receiving terrifying threats from him after meeting only once. The police called this incident "one of the scariest stalking cases of the modern era," shocking everyone.

According to Milli.Az, during the initial investigation, it was reported that the number of messages was 65,000, but a thorough examination of police documents revealed that Ades sent more than 159,000 messages to the victim. This means sending nearly a message every minute over a long period of time.

Ades' messages were not simply love confessions. After being banned from the person's property in 2017, the content of the messages became crueler. According to the documents, she sent the following horrific messages:

"I would make sushi from your kidneys, and chopsticks from your finger bones.", "I would wear your meninges and the top part of your skull like clothing.", "I would like to bathe in your blood."

The stalking was not limited to the virtual world only. The police caught Ades at this person's home, bathing in the bathroom, and arrested her for unlawful entry.

Immediately after being released, she went to the person's workplace claiming to be "his wife" and was again arrested.

In an interview given in prison, 31-year-old Ades defended herself, saying that they met through the "Luxy" app designed for millionaires and that she felt she had found her "soul mate" upon seeing this person. She claims that these actions were out of "love."

Experts believe Ades has serious mental health problems. She is currently being prosecuted for assault, threats, and unlawful entry onto property. The court proceedings will continue in February 2026.
