FIFA has rejected the appeal filed by the Belgian Football Federation regarding the US national team's forward Folarin Balogun.
Medianews.az reports that the organization upheld the decision to conditionally suspend the 1-match ban given due to a red card.
Thus, Balogun has obtained the right to participate in the Round of 16 match of World Cup 2026 against Belgium.
It should be noted that the Belgian Football Federation submitted an appeal, stating that FIFA's decision was against the disciplinary rules of the tournament.
