Ukrainian drones reached Siberia – The largest factory was hit

On the afternoon of July 6, Ukraine struck Russia's Omsk oil refinery with drones.

Political analyst Shahin Jafarli told Medianews.az that the Omsk oil refinery, owned by Russia's "Gazpromneft" company, is the largest facility in Russia in this sector, processing more than 22 million tons of oil annually: "Because it is located far away – at least 2,500 kilometers – Ukraine could not reach this strategic facility. After increasing the flight range of FP-1 drones, it finally became possible to hit the refinery today.

Until now, Ukraine had disabled 43 percent of Russia's oil refining capacity. The strike on the Omsk oil refinery will further deepen the fuel crisis in the Russian domestic market."
