A decision has been made in the court case regarding allegations of illegal gambling advertising and promotion involving Sadettin Saran.
Medianews.az reports that, according to the Turkish press, a verdict has been announced in the criminal case opened against the president of "Fenerbahçe," Saran. According to the decision, he was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
The case materials claimed that during football matches broadcasted on the transmission platform owned by Sadettin Saran, advertisements for illegal betting sites were aired. During the court process, the positions of the parties were heard, and a final decision was made.
It should be noted that Sadettin Saran previously denied the accusations and stated that there was no technical possibility to interfere with the signal of the internationally broadcast matches.
