GÜNBƏZLI BATHHOUSE where Armenians tortured the residents of Guba VIDEO

"Today is International Culture Day. Instead of talking about the Çuxur bathhouse in Quba, which dates back to the 18th-19th centuries and has come down to our day, it is worth mentioning."

These thoughts were included in a video material by AzTV.

It is also known among the people as the "Hündürgünbəzli bath" or "Bekir bath." The reason it is called "Çuxur bath" is that the bathhouse is located several meters below the ground surface. One of the unique features of the monument is that it is built with red bricks. The bathhouse is considered one of the masterpieces of Eastern architecture.

In general, this building operated as a bathhouse until 1985 and later was registered as a historical cultural monument and is protected by the Ministry of Culture. One of the genocides perpetrated by the Armenians against our people in 1918 took place in Quba. According to the local residents during that genocide, people were killed by suffocating them in steam precisely in this bathhouse.
