Güler scored in the 35th second of the match after a mistake by Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Güler surpassed the achievement of former Madrid player Gareth Bale. Bale had scored Real Madrid's fastest goal in the tournament in the 57th second against "Legia" in November 2016.
