Women living in the United Kingdom are ranked first in Europe in terms of the frequency of experiencing feelings of anger.
This information was published by "The Independent" referring to the "Hologic" Global Women's Health Index. Sociologists analyzed the psychological well-being and health indicators of more than 76,000 participants within the framework of the project.
Research in 2024 shows that approximately 25% of women in the United Kingdom experienced feelings of anger one day prior to the survey. This figure is significantly higher than the European average of 13%. Meanwhile, while the situation remained stable in other European countries, a sharp 47% increase was observed in this indicator in the United Kingdom over the course of the year.
Experts associate this increase in aggression with the crisis in the healthcare system. In the global ranking on women's health, the United Kingdom fell to 48th place among 142 countries, setting a historic low.
Researchers also specifically highlight chronic physical pain (reported by one-third of respondents) among the main medical problems of British women. 40% of participants expressed concern due to difficulties in accessing medical care, and 70% reported facing problems with the quality of medical services over the past five years./oxu.az
