The mother of the teenagers who were allegedly attacked with an axe by their uncle in the Üçtəpə village of Cəlilabad, Xəyalə Məmmədova, spoke to Baku TV about the details of the incident.
According to her, her child was murdered over property.
"I was at home with my children. When I went to the store to buy bread, I saw Nağıyev Orxan and Nağıyev Əli - two brothers talking while looking at me. When I returned home, they had attacked my innocent child with an axe. The axe was also used to block my way; they wouldn't let me in so my daughter would bleed to death. Nağıyev Orxan killed my child over property; there was no home or belongings, he was left with nothing. I want the harshest punishment; my innocent child's blood must not remain unavenged," she said.
It should be noted that on February 1, a horrific murder occurred in the Üçtəpə village of Cəlilabad. Village resident Əli Nağıyev inflicted axe injuries on two children of his brother with whom he lived - 14-year-old Huseyn Nağıyev and 15-year-old Həqiqət Nağıyeva. Həqiqət Nağıyeva died, while Huseyn Nağıyev is injured.
Regarding the fact, a criminal case was initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code at the Cəlilabad District Prosecutor's Office, and Əli Nağıyev was detained by the Prosecutor's Office as a suspect.
