Isa Habibbeyli, the president of ANAS, stated that new buildings are being constructed in the Saray settlement for the scientists of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, as well as for workers in the fields of science and education.
According to Milli.Az, Isa Habibbeyli spoke about this in an interview with manset.az.
He noted that currently construction of apartments to be provided to scientists in the Saray settlement is ongoing and that several buildings are already completed:
"About 10 years ago, by the decree of the Honorable President, a large plot of land was allocated in the Absheron district, Saray settlement, to solve the housing problem of the academy's scientists and workers in the field of science and education. In that area, construction of multi-storey residential buildings for workers in science and education began. Construction work on the first and second buildings has already been completed. During my leadership period, the construction of the third building is about to be completed. These apartments will be provided in accordance with mortgage rules."
