In the third quarter of 2025 (July-September), Georgia was visited by 3 million foreigners who spent 6.2 billion lari (3.9 billion manat).
Medianews.az reports that 58.7 percent of the visitors came for rest and entertainment, 20.7 percent to visit relatives and friends, and 3.1 percent for shopping.
The arrival of 4.2 percent of those who set foot in the country was registered as a business trip, 12.2 percent as transit to another country, and 1 percent as a trip for other purposes.
It is reported that the most tourists came from Russia (26.1 percent of total tourists), Turkey (16.5 percent), and Armenia (11.8 percent).
