The State Statistics Committee has announced macroeconomic indicators.
Medianews.az reports that according to the report, in January-May, the country's gross domestic product amounted to 51 billion 783.8 million manat, with a 1 percent decline in the oil-gas sector and a 0.4 percent growth in the non-oil/gas sector.
Compared to the first five months of 2025, there was a 0.2 percent increase in industry, 2.3 percent in agriculture, 6.8 percent in transportation and warehousing services, 10.1 percent in information and communication services, and a 3.8 percent increase in retail trade turnover.
It is noted that investment decreased by 2.1 percent, strategic foreign currency reserves increased by 15.2 percent, and external public debt declined by 8 percent.
Population's nominal incomes rose by 10.2 percent, and inflation is stated at 5.6 percent.
