During heavy rains, the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ASWRA) and the United Unified Water Supply Service of Large Cities are operating in an intensified mode to drain the accumulated rainwater in the areas. The information was provided to Medianews.az by ASWRA.
The information states that ASWRA and the responsible persons of the Service, including employees of the sewerage departments, are carrying out rainwater drainage works in various areas.
In the Surakhani district, the sewer lines on İ.Əhlimanov Street in the Hovsan settlement, and İ.Suleymanov Street in the Zhig settlement are being cleaned; in the Sabunchu district, Bakikhanov settlement, Yaver Aliyev, Yashar Aliyev streets; in Səbail district, at the intersection of Neftchilar Avenue and Bulbul Street; in the Khatai district, Məzahir Rustamov Street, 3N pumping station, Bagirov bridge, and other areas, accumulated rainwater is being drained.
The work continues intensively and urgently.
