The U.S. Department of Justice has released the text of a new indictment against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, his wife, and son.
According to AZERTAC, they are accused of narcoterrorism and drug trafficking. The Department states in the indictment that Maduro and his allies have turned Venezuelan institutions into a nest of corruption related to drug trade for their own profit.
It is noted that this corruption has benefited violent narcoterrorists operating with impunity on Venezuelan soil, helping in the production, protection, and transportation of tons of cocaine to the USA, while also lining the pockets of Venezuelan officials and their families.
