60% of men wash their hands after using the toilet – SHOCK FROM THE SCHOLARS

Men do not wash their hands after using the toilet.

Medicina.az reports that specialists from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine equipped the liquid soap containers in the restrooms of service stations with special sensors during the research period.

As soon as visitors used the soap, the sensors were activated and recorded the event.

Only 30% of men believe in the importance of washing their hands with soap after using the toilet. Among women, this percentage is significantly higher.

During the observation, it was recorded that more than 250,000 people entered the restrooms. It was revealed that only 30% of men felt the need to use soap after using the toilet. However, this percentage among women was higher - more than 60%.

Thus, special messages appeared on the screens in front of the restrooms: "Water does not kill germs, soap kills!", "Don't be a dirty person - use soap!".

Interestingly, women responded better to calls reminding them to wash their hands with soap, while men responded better to messages about the "disgust" of unwashed hands and "dirty people".

Another interesting fact has also drawn attention. If someone sees the person next to them washing their hands with soap, they also reach out to the tap.

Personal example caused a 12 percent increase in the number of "soap users".
