American leader Donald Trump declared that the US will remain in Venezuela until a necessary power transition is carried out.
"Report" reports that the White House chief said this at a press conference held at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
"We will govern the country until a safe, proper, and necessary power transition is possible," - after his words, Trump noted that it is risky for anyone to take Maduro's position in Venezuela. "Because in this case, everything could end the same," - the American leader emphasized.
Referring to the second wave of attack, Trump did not exclude that this attack could be bigger. He also stated that planes and helicopters were involved in the operation in Venezuela, and no soldiers were killed.
"No equipment was lost, no soldier was killed," - Trump said.
