Observations show that over the last 5-7 years, the number of real examples of people over 50 changing professions worldwide has increased, and this situation is now considered a noticeable trend in the labor market.

Sahib Mammadov, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the League for the Protection of Citizens' Labor Rights, who gave a statement to Bizim.media on the topic, said that one can change their profession at any time:
"First of all, there is a need for any profession in one way or another. The main thing is to be a perfect expert in your profession and always increase your knowledge and experience. On the other hand, you must acquire a new profession that is needed by others.
Additionally, the redirection of older employees to new fields is carried out according to several main models. One of these is the transition to a related profession. Another model is a role change within the same profession. For example, it is more common to see an engineer turning into a project manager or taking on management functions.
Overall, the changes occurring in the labor market, the development of new technologies, and people's increased interest in remaining actively employed for longer have made changing professions after the age of 50 a more realistic and accepted choice."
