The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has promised to take revenge for the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
According to Axar.az, quoting "Tasnim," this was stated in a declaration by the IRGC.
"The hand of revenge of the Iranian nation will not let go of the killers of Khamenei until they are severely, decisively, and regretfully punished," the statement said.
The organization considered the killing of the Supreme Leader as a clear violation of religious, moral, legal, and international norms.
The Iranian government also announced in a statement regarding Khamenei's death that the criminals will not go unpunished.
"With the support of the Islamic Ummah and freedom-loving people of the world, we will make the perpetrators and masterminds of this great crime regret their actions," the government statement said.
It should be recalled that as a result of attacks by the US and Israel on Iran, Iran's State News Agency confirmed the killing of Ali Khamenei. Previously, US President Donald Trump had announced Khamenei's death.
