The National Hydrometeorology Service has issued yellow and orange warnings regarding windy weather conditions expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on July 27-28, as well as in some other regions.
It has been reported to Medianews.az that in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Gadabay, Goygol, Shamkir, Samukh, Yevlakh, Barda, Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar, Guba, Siyazan, Khizi, Altiagaj, Imishli, Shirvan, Beylagan, Saatly, Sabirabad, Salyan, Bilasuvar, Jalilabad, Masalli, Lerik, Yardimli, Lankaran, and Astara, a northwest wind will blow consistent with the yellow warning, with wind speed ranging from 13.9 to 20.7 meters per second.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Mingachevir, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz, Ganja, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Gobustan, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Naftalan, Khachmaz, Qusar, and Shabran, according to the orange warning, a northwest wind will blow, with wind speeds strengthening from 20.8 up to 28.4 meters per second.
