The Madrid Regional Court has rejected UEFA's appeal against the Super League.
According to Milli.Az citing foreign media, this was announced by the Press Service of "Real Madrid," one of the main initiators of the Super League.
The court's decision noted that UEFA seriously violated the European Union's free competition principles in relation to the Super League.
"This decision creates an opportunity to claim compensation for the damage caused to the 'Real Madrid' club," the club's statement said.
It should be noted that on April 19, 2021, several leading European clubs announced the creation of the Super League. Although most clubs later withdrew from the project, "Real Madrid" still remains one of the main supporters of the tournament.
