The oil tanker "Elbus" sailing under the flag of Palau was subjected to a drone attack in the Black Sea and was towed to the Turkish coast.
According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by the İHA agency.
According to the information, the attack occurred earlier, when the ship was approximately 30 nautical miles (57 km - editor) away from Turkey's Kastamonu province. It is assumed that the attack was carried out using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The upper part of the hull was hit.
The captain sent a distress signal, and afterwards the Turkish Coast Guard units promptly went to the scene.
It was reported that the crew members were not injured.
