Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the global car manufacturer Hyundai will start producing one hundred percent electric cars at its factory located in İzmit. He stated that after TOGG, a new phase in electric vehicle production is opening in Turkey, and this step carries significant importance both for the country's economy and local industry.
Milli.Az reports that on November 24, recalling their meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung in Ankara, he said that Hyundai is officially starting the production of fully electric vehicles at its İzmit plant.
In his speech, Erdoğan noted that joint projects between the two countries in the field of defense industry continue and negotiations regarding the nuclear power plant are progressing. He stated that the memorandum of understanding signed between Korea Electric Power Corporation and Turkey Nuclear Energy Corporation will facilitate the acceleration of this process.
