The peace memorandum between the US and Iran may be signed on June 14 in the city of Geneva, Switzerland.

The document is expected to be signed by US Vice President Jay D. Vance and Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
According to the draft memorandum, it is envisaged that frozen Iranian assets blocked by the US will be released and sanctions on the oil sector will be lifted. In return, Iran must ensure that the Strait of Hormuz remains open.
The parties are also expected to hold separate talks regarding Iran's nuclear program within the next 60 days.//Modern.az
