SEPAH does not confirm what Pezeškiyan said.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) has not confirmed the government's allocation of 20 million barrels of oil to them.

This was stated by SEPAH spokesman Hussein Mohabbi.

"I doubt that this is true," H. Mohabbi emphasized, adding that he has no information regarding the matter.

According to him, it is the government's responsibility to support the armed forces in conducting combat operations: "Of course, there is a need for a budget to stand against the enemy and equip various units. The government is obliged to provide this budget.

I have no information that the government has indeed given oil to SEPAH, and I doubt that this has happened, because the Corps does not have a mechanism for this."

It is worth recalling that on June 19, "Bloomberg," and on the 21st, "Iran International" reported that the country's President Masoud Pezeshkian handed over 20 million barrels of crude oil owned by the government to SEPAH with the aim of strengthening the military potential, particularly the supply and financial capabilities of the Aerospace Forces. "He defended this decision by emphasizing that the country's military forces cannot operate without support," the report stated.

It should be noted that this decision was criticized by many opposition circles amid the worsening socio-economic crisis in Iran. /Report
