The Russia-Japan tension has entered a new phase.

Chinese media writes that tension in Russia-Japan relations has entered a new phase.

According to Medianews.az, it is claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin, against the background of Tokyo's recent statements, has dealt a "sharp and deliberate blow" to Japan. The matter concerns the banning of entry into Russia of 30 Japanese citizens.

Official Moscow called this decision a response to the "continuing anti-Russian policy of the Japanese government." The ban list includes the official representative of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, journalists from leading newspapers such as "Nikkei," "Mainichi," and "Asahi," employees of "TBS" and "Fuji TV," university professors, and representatives of several non-governmental organizations.

Chinese media claims that Putin "neutralized Tokyo with a preemptive strike and restrained its arrogance."

It is recalled that relations between Japan and China have also intensified sharply in recent months. Thus, the Japanese government declared that in the event China attempts to establish control over Taiwan by force, "its self-defense forces will take action."
