Russian military experts, together with the Central African Republic (CAR) army, have destroyed two bases.

Clashes have occurred near the border with Chad and Sudan. Armed groups came to the Central African Republic to disrupt stability in the country before the December 28 elections. Their bases were discovered during patrols and fighting began. Some of the terrorists were killed, and the remaining forces retreated by crossing the border.
The operation is currently ongoing, additional forces have been deployed to the area from the CAR Armed Forces, and neighboring countries have been warned about the activities of the armed groups.
