The "National Action Plan for Gender Equality (Men and Women) in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026 - 2028" has been approved.
Medianews.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree regarding this matter.
According to the decree, the State Committee on Family, Women and Children’s Issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall coordinate the implementation of the measures envisaged in the National Action Plan and shall report once a year to the President of Azerbaijan on the execution of the Plan.
The monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the National Action Plan shall be carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication based on the order of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children’s Issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Cabinet of Ministers shall resolve the issues arising from this Decree.
