Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he will depart from Hamburg to Moscow to participate in the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Intergovernmental Council.
Oxu.Az reports that Pashinyan was on an official visit to Germany and held meetings with the German leadership during the visit.
The Prime Minister was asked whether deepening relations with the European Union (EU) is compatible with participation in the EAEU structures. Pashinyan said he does not see a contradiction between the two:
"We are deepening relations with the EU and from here I am flying to Moscow. Is there any incompatibility here? Clearly not, because both processes are actually taking place. If at some point a clear incompatibility between these processes emerges, then we will consider what decision to make."
It should be noted that the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Moscow on December 11.
