Joint pains mainly arise as a result of inflammatory processes and can complicate daily life.
Medianews.az reports that although pain relievers are often used in most cases, specialists say that some natural remedies can also help reduce the pain.
Turmeric (yellow root) – The curcumin substance in it exhibits anti-inflammatory effects. It is recommended to take half a teaspoon of turmeric once a day by adding it to warm water or milk. A small amount of black pepper can be added to increase the effect.
Olive oil – Massaging the painful area with warm olive oil in circular motions can improve blood circulation and reduce tension. Especially applying it in the evening hours has a relaxing effect.
Cabbage leaf – A lightly crushed fresh cabbage leaf is placed on the painful joint and wrapped with a cotton cloth. It is advised to keep it on for at least 30 minutes. This method is widely used especially on the knee and elbow areas.
Apple cider vinegar – One teaspoon of natural apple cider vinegar can be added to a glass of warm water and taken once a day. It can also be diluted with water and used for massage purposes.
It should be noted that these methods have a supportive nature and medical advice is absolutely necessary in cases of strong or persistent pain.
