Delsi Rodrigues, who held the position of Vice President of Venezuela until last Saturday, took the oath as the interim head of state.
Oxu.Az reports that the swearing-in ceremony took place at the National Assembly of Venezuela.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the Speaker of Parliament and the interim president’s brother, Jorge Rodrigues.
Delsi Rodrigues assumed this position after Nicolas Maduro was detained in Caracas following a U.S. military operation. It should be noted that Maduro, along with his wife Cilia Flores, was removed from the country.
