"He was rude, and I said, hey child, sit in your place."

As we reported, singer Günay İbrahimli said at a wedding celebration that her colleague Nadir Qafarzade did not let her go on stage.

The singer stated that Günay's name was not on the list presented to her at the event:

"Nothing like that happened. I wouldn't do such a thing. The wedding owner is someone else, I am the host. We are told in advance who will be at the wedding. Günay İbrahimli was not on the list. They brought her as a surprise. Before her, it was the time of another performer on the list, and I introduced him. Then Günay came and asked to sing quickly. Her assistant rudely approached, not knowing the hierarchy. I also said, hey kid, go sit in your place."

The singer said she did not like that Günay talked about this matter on air:

"We talked on the phone, it was not necessary to say it again on air. She herself said on the air that we talked on the phone. So why did you say it again on air? The assistants of singers should behave so that the performers around them respect them. I am the seasoned Nadir Qafarzade, they should be careful. It's not the singers, the fault lies with their assistants. They should be careful with me, I don't like arrogance. I have no dealings with anyone, everyone earns their money. I'm not the one giving the money. Let them come, take their money, and leave." (axşam.az)
