On June 28, a tragic incident occurred in Armenia's Ararat province.

It was reported that at around 14:15, the Ararat province unit of the Police Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received an operational message about a corpse in a "Changan" branded vehicle at the 45th kilometer of the Yerevan–Yeraskh highway, in the administrative territory of Vedi.
It was confirmed on the scene that the operational information was accurate. A male corpse was found in the mentioned vehicle. Information about the incident was forwarded from the Ararat province unit of the Patrol Service to the investigative department of the Republic of Armenia's Investigative Committee for Ararat province. With the leadership of Qagik Arakelyan, head of the department, his deputies Nerses Muradyan, Gegham Mkrtchyan, and chief investigator Artak, an investigative group arrived at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated in the Vedi investigation division regarding the fact, and the identities of the car owner and the deceased driver are being determined.
By order of the investigation, the vehicle was taken to a specially guarded area of the Vedi police station. According to the photojournalist's information, the driver is Qagik Stambultsyanyan, founder of the "Avangard" Medical Center, former member of the National Assembly, and former Minister of Health. According to preliminary data, he suddenly died while driving the vehicle, which caused the accident. //publika.az
