HAMAS trusts the potential of the US president regarding the establishment of peace in Gaza.
APA reports that the organization's spokesperson Hazim Qasim spoke about this to the "Al Arabiyya" channel.
He stated that US President Donald Trump played a key role in achieving ceasefire in Gaza, but the situation remains fragile and deadly.
The HAMAS official said that since the ceasefire was achieved, more than 420 people have died in Gaza.
Nevertheless, Hazim Qasim claimed that the organization trusts Trump's peace potential and that the US is the only country that can compel Israel towards peace.
It should be noted that the ceasefire between HAMAS and Israel was achieved on October 10, and the organization handed over 27 out of 28 Israeli hostages to Israel.
Israel, for its part, handed over 15 Palestinians to Gaza for each returned hostage.
