The singer known by the nickname "Elite star" Jamila has come to the agenda with an interesting and controversial statement.
Milli.Az reports that the performer made sincere confessions about her earnings, wedding invitations, and personal lifestyle while being a guest on the show "Between Us".
The artist said that she receives few invitations to weddings, but despite this, she earns more than many singers who perform at weddings. Jamila emphasized that her main income comes from performances in private venues and clubs:
"I sing in places called 'private venues'. Wherever they invite me, I go and perform. I cannot wait for wedding invitations. I earn 25-30 thousand manats a month. My daily income is 2-3 thousand manats."
The singer also revealed that she does not spend her birthdays in Azerbaijan. According to her, she prefers to celebrate special days abroad:
"I spend my birthdays in foreign countries. Instead of spending money and celebrating here, I see other countries. Next year I plan to celebrate my birthday in Spain, and the following year in Stockholm. No one can say anything about my singing in private venues; I'm not that age. I earn my money. Young people love my songs and sing them by heart. I have never attended anyone's birthday, and I will not attend going forward. I will not celebrate my own birthday here either."
The singer's remarks have caused wide discussions on social networks. While some appreciate her frankness, others have criticized the opinions she expressed.
