The "Victory Cup" wrestling tournament held in Antalya, Turkey has concluded.
Medianews.az, referring to "Qafqazinfo," reports that on the last day of the traditional tournament, 5 of our wrestlers stood on the podium.
In freestyle wrestling, Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg) and Hakim Tagiyev (110 kg) became champions by defeating all their opponents.
In Greco-Roman wrestling, Zeka Yusubov (80 kg) and Mohammad Mustafayev (110 kg) achieved the same result. Isfahan Hasanov (80 kg) won the bronze medal.
In freestyle wrestling, our national team completed the traditional tournament with 3 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, collecting 147 points and securing 2nd place in the team ranking. Our Greco-Roman wrestling team earned 5 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals, totaling 169 points and also took 2nd place overall.
