Brazil's "Flamengo" club has parted ways with head coach Filipe Luis.
Medianews.az reports that the decision was made after the team's 8-0 victory over "Madureyra" in the cup match.
The club unexpectedly dismissed the 40-year-old specialist, whose contract was extended two months ago. Under his leadership, the team became champion in the Libertadores Cup and Brazilian Championship over the last three months, and also won the national cup.
According to Brazilian media, the team's new head coach will be Leonardo Jardim.
Filipe Luis led the team in 99 matches and averaged 2.09 points. In the current season, "Flamengo" has recorded 1 win, 1 draw, and 1 loss in 3 league rounds.
