Sellers report that the spread of foot-and-mouth disease among large cattle has increased the demand for poultry. Because of this, along with turkey, goose and duck have also become more expensive.
For example, if the price of turkey was previously 14 manats, now it ranges between 16-20 manats. While the price of goose per kilogram is between 13-15 manats, in some markets it has risen up to 18 manats. The price of duck per kilogram is around 14-16 manats.
