The usage period of these phones has expired.

Technology giant Xiaomi has officially discontinued software support for a number of popular smartphone models. The models included in the company's updated EOL (end-of-life devices) list will no longer receive any updates, including security notifications.

The main devices for which support has been discontinued include the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60E.

The last update for these smartphones was a security package from March 2026, officially marking the end of their software support period.

Both models were introduced in December 2022 and had received the updates promised by the manufacturer. These updates included the transition of the operating system to the HyperOS platform. However, no new features or security patches resolving vulnerabilities will be provided for these devices going forward.

Experts note that users can continue to use these phones, but security risks must be considered. The absence of updates may cause problems in the future in terms of data protection and compatibility with applications.

It should be noted that the Redmi K60 gained great popularity in the market when it was launched due to its high technical specifications and reasonable price. The device offered users a flagship-level experience with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a high-quality display, and fast charging capabilities. (Lent.az)
