According to information from Milli.Az, the study states that consuming a total of 7-8 cups of beverages throughout the day, properly dividing this amount among the mentioned drinks, plays an important role in longevity.

Experts say that water regulates the body's fluid balance, while the polyphenols in coffee and tea have positive effects on cardiovascular health, inflammation, and digestive health.

Nutrition expert Ella Davar commented on the study as follows:

"The main source of hydration is water. However, when tea and coffee, rich in polyphenols, are also added to the diet, the benefits increase significantly. The effects of this combination strongly support cardiovascular health, metabolism, and immunity."

Quantity is not as important as balance

Scientists believe that not only the volume of drinks but also their variety is important. The chlorogenic acid in coffee, catechins in tea, and complete hydration provided by water together create a strong protective mechanism for the body.

This balance also prevents excessive caffeine and sugar intake. Experts recommend starting the day after exercise with a glass of water, drinking several cups of coffee in the morning hours, and consuming green or black tea in the second half of the day.
