An 11-year-old child died from food poisoning in Sabirabad.
Medianews.az, citing APA, reports that last night, four members of a family residing in the village of Sarakhanbeyli in Sabirabad district applied to Shirvan hospital with a diagnosis of poisoning, suspected to be food poisoning.
After their stomachs were washed, the family members were released home; however, the condition of Jafarov Huseyn Javanshir oglu, born in 2015, worsened and he was taken back to the hospital. According to the hospital, around 3 p.m. today, the child who was brought back to the hospital was recorded as deceased before medical attention could be provided.
Preliminary information suggests that the cause of the family's poisoning is believed to be a canned vegetable product.
An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
