Romanian President Nicolae Dan Eugen Tomac announced his resignation from the position of Prime Minister.
Adrian Veștea has been appointed as the new Prime Minister.
According to Dan, Veștea has worked in important administrative positions, especially as the mayor of Râșnov, chairman of the district council, and successfully served as the Minister of Development by attracting significant European investments to the country.
"He is a person interested in development, a confident supporter of the West, possessing high moral values and ready for dialogue, and finally, he is someone who has worked with budgets for a long time and is responsible for their management. Therefore, I am confident that he will successfully handle this position," the Romanian President said.
At the same time, Dan Tomac expressed gratitude for the loyalty and responsibility he demonstrated in his work. /Modern.az
