"It is important to allow taxis to use special bus lanes in Baku."
According to Oxu.Az, deputy Vasif Qafarov said this at today's parliamentary meeting.
The member of parliament stated that, according to the Law "On Motor Transport," taxis are considered public transport vehicles, and this model is widely applied in international practice:
"I propose that taxis officially registered on platforms in Baku city be granted the right to use bus lanes. This step will strengthen the intelligent management of transportation, reduce congestion load, and increase citizen satisfaction."
