The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President has imposed financial sanctions on the heads and deputy heads of 5 regional (district) directorates of "Azerishiq" JSC.
The discussion concerns the regional (district) energy supply and sales directorates of South, Northwest, Shirvan, Sumgait, and Yasamal.
The agency told Medianews.az that the cause of the sanctions is the violation of competition law requirements.
It is emphasized that the heads and deputy heads subjected to sanctions directly participated in these violations.
The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control conducted the investigation at "Azerishiq" based on citizens' complaints and information received from the Energy Regulatory Agency subordinate to the Ministry of Energy.
