Medianews.az has reviewed the statistics of Azerbaijan's oil production.
The Ministry of Energy, including condensate, reported oil production as 44.5 million tons in 2008, 50.4 million tons in 2009, 50.8 million tons in 2010, 45.6 million tons in 2011, 43.4 million tons in 2012, 43.5 million tons in 2013, 42 million tons in 2014, 41.6 million tons in 2015, 41 million tons in 2016, 38.7 million tons in 2017, 38.8 million tons in 2018, 37.4 million tons in 2019, 34.5 million tons in 2020, 34.6 million tons in 2021, 32.6 million tons in 2022, 30.2 million tons in 2023, 29.1 million tons in 2024, and 25.3 million tons in January-November 2025.
In the state budget for 2026, one barrel of oil is priced at 65 dollars. Azerbaijani oil under the brand "AzeriLight" started at 65.71 dollars.
The exporters’ OPEC+ coalition has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels.
